The highest scoring loser from all matches from divisions 2 and 3 will qualify as the 4 th team for the semi finals. In the case of a tie in this instance the runs/wicket ave will decide.

Teams batting second will continue their innings until they have completed their 20 overs or have lost all wickets – regardless of the score of their opponents.

THE SEMI FINAL:

Proposed start time 14:00Hrs

4 teams will already have qualified. Prior to play, a draw will have been conducted as to which teams will go into play off, in a head to head. Normal rules apply and both winners will meet in the festival final. So as to retain numbers at the home ground mini festival, the play format should follow similarly to that of the preliminary round.

BATTING BOWLING

TEAM 1 VS TEAM 2

TEAM 3 VS TEAM 4

TEAM 2 VS TEAM 1

TEAM 4 VS TEAM 3

VENUES:

For the preliminary round, one ground will be selected on a first out of the hat choice, that team will be the home team and will be responsible for arranging entertainment, tea’s and refreshments. A pre agreed match fee per person will be set to cover the home team’s costs and umpires if necessary.

This is an ideal opportunity for the home ground to turn this day of cricket into a mini festival and raise funds for the home ground where appropriate.

For the Semi final, where possible, the ground used in the preliminary round should not be used, thus allowing another home team to create their own mini festival.

The final will be presented in the usual format ( Cookridge CC will offer their facilities, as it coincides with their 75 th anniversary year)

RECORDING:

Predesigned record sheets will be E-mailed to the home team for ease of recording and return to the event organiser.

The management team will be requested to decide on rule in case of dispute.
